In the meantime, patients awaiting or having recently undergone arthroplasty are expected to take care of their joints while they are self-isolating in their homes. But how? The Italian Arthroplasty Registry (Registro Italiano Artroprotesi - RIAP) of the Istituto Superiore di SanitĂ (ISS), in collaboration with the Italian Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (SocietĂ italiana di Ortopedia e Traumatologia - SIOT), has published practical advice for people on how to improve their joint health.
